Six Jesuit Deacons got ordained Priests in the Divine Mercy Church at Fatima Retreat House on October 18 by the ordaining Bishop, Most Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Mangalore.

The six new priests are Fr. Melwyn Kevin Sequeira SJ, s/o Ambrose and Evelyn Sequeira of Fermai Parish; Fr. Vishal Wilson D’Souza SJ, s/o Felix and Assumpta D’’Souza of Ferar Parish; Fr. Alwyn D’Souza SJ, s/o Joesph (Late) and Esthel D’Souza of Nellyadi Parish, Fr. Joyson Sujay Vas SJ, s/o Joachim and Sophia Vas of Neermarga Parish. Fr. Don Prem Lobo SJ, s/o Thomas and Veronica Lobo of Kelarai Parish; and Fr. Pradeep Crasta SJ, s/o Lawrence and Monica Crasta of Siddakatte Parish.
